One in three school and college leavers believe their education has not prepared them for the world of work. businessdynamics programmes aim to address this by bringing volunteers from local business into the classroom. Our programmes are interactive, challenging and fun. Developed in conjunction with schools and colleges, they are curriculum-complementary and are supported by many of Britain’s top companies.
Legal & General’s support and the ongoing backing from Careers Wales will ensure that over 5,000 students, aged 14-19, across Wales will benefit from businessdynamics programmes this year. Legal & General hopes that their involvement with businessdynamics will demonstrate to other businesses in Wales the importance of educating young people about the many career opportunities available to them. David Prosser, Group Chief Executive, Legal & General said, “Legal & General in Wales has grown considerably since we launched our Cardiff office in 1997 and we now have a wide range of opportunities requiring different skills. Many young people do not understand that there are many different career opportunities available to them in Wales and we are pleased to support businessdynamics in raising awareness.”
Legal & General’s headline sponsorship will provide a crucial platform from which businessdynamics can aim to double their activities benefiting thousands more students in Wales. businessdynamics operates in all areas in Wales and programmes can be delivered in Welsh if requested. businessdynamics programmes include:
e-business Programme: Raising awareness of the opportunities of the e-marketplace and provide them with the skills needed to be effective.
