3i, one of Europe’s leading venture capital companies, became in 1978 a founding sponsor of Understanding Industry (the previous name of businessdynamics before it was rebranded) and has continued to remain an active partner ever since.
Initially 3i provided the organisation with premises to operate from and then went on to support some of the individual programmes such as the Blue Skies initiative that brings today’s young entrepreneurs to the aspiring entrepreneurs of the future.
3i is a company that invests in new business ideas and new business talent. The partnership with businessdynamics is an extension of this conviction and enables 3i to support and encourage some of the UK’s emerging young entrepreneurs and to help equip them with the skills, competencies and awareness needed to succeed in business.
